Board Members
The Board of Directors is responsible for representing the homeowners and ensuring the affairs of the Heritage Place II Property Owners Association are properly managed by the management company in a manner consistent with the covenants, bylaws, guidelines, and Florida Statute Chapter 720. They should endeavor to uniformly enforce the Association's governing documents without exceptions.
According to Article IV of the covenants (pg 63), the Board shall be comprised of three directors - one elected at each annual meeting and serving a term of three (3) years. In the event of death, resignation, or removal of a director, the remaining two Board members shall select a successor. If a Board member is absent from three (3) consecutive meetings, the remaining members shall declare that position to be vacant and select a replacement.
Board positions are known as officers. Article VIII calls for a President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer. Officer positions are held for one year, then rotated.
Board m
embers are typically homeowners that are either elected or volunteer for the position. They are not paid or compensated in any way for their time and efforts on behalf of the community. Any homeowner with knowledge of the community documents, an account in goodstanding, without open violations, and the ability to attend monthly meetings may volunteer to serve on the Board. Khrysti volunteered to fill an opening on the Board of Directors and began serving in January 2013. She has lived in Heritage Place II since 2003 and loves the fact that the area is convenient for both work and play! She has held the officer positions of President and Vice President. Heddy NazarioSecretary
Heddy has lived in Heritage Place II since 2000. She is retired Navy and currently works for a DoD contractor. Her daughter attends Freedom High School. Heddy spends most of her time with her daughter’s school activities and taking care of her dogs.  She's an outdoors enthusiast that loves travelling, scuba diving, and the beach. Heddy volunteered to fill a vacancy on the Board of Directors in September 2020.
